embed & assumption & irrelevant

Embedded in them are assumptions of culture as irrelevant, as a problem or threat, or as an opportunity of learning and innovation, and even a source of competitive advantage as shown in table 9.1.


Embed

1. to put something firmly or deeply into something else, or to be put into something else in this way
2. to make something an important or basic part of something else, or make it difficult to remove


assumptions

1. something that you think is true, though you have no proof
2. the act of starting to have control or power

>The pricing of SONY's PS3 is based on the assumption that the sales will increase because of Christmas sales battle.


irrelevant

1. not useful in or not relating to a particular situation, and therefore not important

>Most Erasmus student viewed lectures as boring and irrelevant to the real issue.
